#n: now that I've probably pissed off a number of people who follow me

Lately, I've noticing an influx on the number of notes and my follower count that I am receiving, because of my fanfiction series called "The Servant". Its most likely because of the release TUA S4, most of you guys probably came across my work due to chance or the 'algorithm' (I have no idea how Tumblr works 😅). I am very thankful for your support of the fanfic series and to my blog.
However, I have come to be the bearer of bad news. I will not continue writing "The Servant", it is officially discontinued.
I'm discontinuing the fanfic because as much as I love TUA S1-S3, S4 left a bad taste in my mouth. The way it was written and how the subplots were handled pissed me off, it didn't help either that most of the characters (Besides Allison, Klaus, Viktor / Victor) were butchered in my eyes because of how mishandled the writing was.
Now, I can probably tell what your gonna say. 'Why not just write your own season 4? ' or 'Why not just write S1-S3 then for S4 focus on writing about Five and Y/N's relationship? '
Here's the thing, I am not confident in my own writing to be that good, that it makes everyone say 'Yeah, they would definitely do this.'
I understand that writing is purely subjective, it can be interpreted in different ways by different people; we all have different headcanons and perceive a character differently. So, at the end of the day, not everyone will be satisfied with what I wrote.
The thing is, I'm just more comfortable with writing a character who I can understand, relate to, and research on. Right now, the Five Hargreeves I watched on S4 feels like a different person, and I hate how short that season was, because I genuinely cannot fathom: how, what, why, and where, this Five Hargreeves came from. In addition, my hatred for cheaters most likely hindered my interest on the series, thus leading me to back away. 🤷♀️
I'm trying to practice to not be so methodical with my writing, and how I try to delve deeper into the story to understand the character. Unfortunately, that won't be happening on this fanfic because I'll be applying it on my other fics.
Moreover, it doesn't help that season 4 completely obliterated my fixation on the series. I am not satisfied with the ending. I hate how this specific season alone was written. I hate how I can't see the characters the same way ever again after that shit show. I hate how I can't even see the media that I once loved the same way ever again. In conclusion, TUA S4 made me lose interest on TUA and I don't plan on writing for it at this point. 😭
I sincerely apologize if you were looking forward to me updating "The Servant". I'm only letting you guys know because I don't want to get new readers hopes up, and you guys have every right to know if I planned to finish the fanfic or not. Doesn't help either that I feel guilty over the fact that a lot of people are following me, most of them most likely don't know that I don't intend on continuing the series. I also had to share my final verdict on whether the fanfic series was officially discontinued or not, so this announcement post was inevitable. 🥹

Noticed someone citing that Kirby vs. Fascist Phone-Trollers anecdote on your other page, and I think they missed a crucial bit: Jack was not *initiating* violence. He wasn't trawling the block with a crowbar, intent on clubbing the next blue-eyed kid who sorta seemed to fit the bill. He was *responding* to a mealy-mouthed calling-out, and while I'm sure he would've thrown down if said shitheads had stuck around, that still isn't the Righteous Pre-emptive Aggro(C) being flogged by this pundit.
I generally try to avoid politics on this blog, but since this current situation is tied into comics as well as politics, I give to you a comic history lesson:
Back during World War II, the majority of the American public was in fact initially opposed to punching Nazis.
Seriously! The fighting over in Europe was viewed as “those silly Europeans are at it again the way they have been for the past several centuries really”. It was Somebody Else’s Problem Certainly Not America’s Problem.
Meanwhile, the Holocaust was at the time not something widely known outside of the populations being affected, and even those who did know often didn’t believe it was true or as bad/extensive as it was claimed to be. Plenty of countries, including America, were resistant to taking in Jewish or other Holocaust refugees.
It was not until Pearl Harbor got attacked that the Americans switched to approving of punching Nazis, because at that point it was a matter of literally self-defense. That is when punching Nazis became seen as OK: not because Nazis were horrible people, but because they punched us first.
So when the folks at Marvel created that iconic picture of Captain America punching Nazis? That was a radical statement back then. That was a very, very ballsy, controversial thing to do. That was Jewish creators saying before Pearl Harbor, “This should be America’s problem to address, dammit! at a time when they were the only Americans being affected and so the majority of Americans didn’t care. It was not something taken as granted to cheer on, and if the Jewish folks had gone around back punching Nazis just for being jerks they would have been viewed unfavorably and arrested for assault and battery.
And as you say, even that iconic moment people talk about wasn’t Kirby going around punching Nazis just for saying rotten things, that was Kirby threatening to engage in self-defense towards someone who made a threat of violence against him first.
Plus ironically that threat was made in response to the statement of a Captain America punching Hitler, because, again, the majority of the American public didn’t see that as a thing we should be doing, though only a minority were as big jerks about their disapproval as that guy who threatened Kirby.
Because you see, the thing is: Superhero comics are a fantasy. They are a fantasy where generally the bad guys are obviously bad guys you have a moral license to punch and the good guys are the people with the moral license to do the punching. ***
But the real world doesn’t work that way, especially in this era. Social, political, and economic power often matter more than physical power. And too many the people with social, political, and economic power are morally terrible people. And those terrible people can and will wield that social, political, and economic power against you, successfully, if you ever punch them in a way that doesn’t look good to the general public that fuels their power.
Because, I mean, Nick Spencer is left-wing! Like, the guy has constantly showed left-wing sensibilities and politics. A large part of his Sam Wilson run has involved sticking it to the right and promoting leftist ideas, to the point where he even pissed off Fox News for a time, and Nick Spencer has frequently expressed left-wing sentiments on his own time. Making Cap a Nazi was even borne in part from the classic far-left belief that all patriotic white people must be white supremacists. So this sudden idea that Nick Spencer is right-wing is totally and utterly bizarre when compared to the facts of what Spencer has historically stated and promoted.
No, the fact that Nick Spencer is saying punching people for talking is bad should tell you “the majority of the American public will view you as morally bad for engaging in violence for reasons other than self-defense”, not “Spencer somehow got a magic brain transplant and did an instant 180 to become right-wing”. ****
People like to complain about respectability politics, but the cold hard truth and reality is that politics is in the end a PR game. It’s a PR game where the people who get the best PR among people who go out and actually vote are the people who get into office and become able to pass policies. And it’s a PR game where the politicians choose to pass or veto policies based in large part on what will curry favor with the people who get them into office.
So the cold hard truth and reality is that being morally and/or factually right does not always mean anything. No matter how morally and factually right it might be to punch Nazis, if it’s not seen as socially right (and therefore usually also politically and/or economically right), you will lose and be punished.
So you then have to ask yourself whether the consequences of your group losing and being punished are worth the satisfaction of “morally justified” violence. And since the consequences for this round of the left losing socially was putting into power Republicans who fully intend to do things that will badly harm lots of people, I feel the answer is no, losing socially is not a fair trade for being morally right.
Then add onto all of that the problem that the group of people calling for violence against terrible people are often the same group of people notoriously terrible at discerning who is and isn’t really a terrible person. This is a group of people which has a historical record of continually strawmanning and twisting things people say, of profiling people based solely on their headgear and clothing and facial hair, of doing things like hypocritically saying that your skin color or sex or orientation alone automatically makes you inherently bigoted or other negative assessments. So on top of going around punching people for reasons other than self-defense being generally not a good idea, these people who want to punch Nazis these people may not even necessarily correctly discern who should be punched.
So all in all, please don’t invoke the ghost of Kirby to go around saying you should punch people for speech alone, especially since one more point: That iconic Kirby moment people talk about is Kirby having to respond to someone wanting to punch him for speech alone.
No, the real, successful way to fight the Nazis and other scum right now is to build your own social, economic, and political power high enough to fight them on their own battlefield unless they degenerate things into physical violence. Because only then will you get to punch awful people and still come out of it on top in the ways that ultimately matter logistically.
I won’t respond to any replies on this account to this specific post, FYI, partly because I don’t want political discourse to take over this blog, and partly because quite frankly most of what I’ve said here is simply reporting fact and the rest I feel logically follows from that fact, so there’s very little of this I view as up for debate anyway.
And anyone who would want to make any response about my being right-wing, a Nazi, a Trump supporter, justifying violence, victim-blaming, or so on, would do nothing but prove my point above about a certain group of people being prone to strawmanning/twisting and generally being bad judges of character, since I would hope it would be obvious from how often I post about minority characters, have lamented about comic titles promoting diversity not doing well, and was despondent after Trump got voted in, that none of those things are the case.
*** To address the people using the specific argument: “Nick Spencer writes comics about people punching bad guys, how can he say we should use polite discourse instead of punching“: Well, you see, Nick Spencer is this thing we call “an adult of sound enough mind to tell the difference between reality and fantasy” which is a concept the people who are asking that question should really look into.
**** And yes I am aware of Spencer’s “SJW Brigade”, which should, again, tell you how even left-wing people view stereotypical SJW behavior, not, again, that Spencer somehow magically became right-wing out of nowhere. It should be an informational lesson about some of the negative ways average people perceive leftist causes, not as a reason to knee-jerk classify people who are on your side as “the enemy” just because they criticized you, even if you feel it was unfair criticism.
#t: questions#Rants#n: now that I've probably pissed off a number of people who follow me#n: even though ironically the sort of people who'd get pissed are the sort of people who really need to see this message

11th doctor
Summary: something goes wrong when Amy and the Doctor decide to go an adventure alone, knowing it was dangerous, they left Rory and Y/n in the TARDIS. Though this wasn't the first time this has happened
Today was one of those days where the Doctor hadn't allowed Y/n to go, which of course, meant that she had to stay with Rory.
She never understood why the Doctor made her stay inside of the Tardis whenever something really dangerous or wrong happened, and let Amy go with him. Now, don't get her wrong, she likes spending time with Rory because hell, he never really gets the recognition he deserves after they come back from an adventure. But at the same time, she was quite jealous that Amy got to go.
At some point during this certain adventure, though, the Doctor and Amy's comms had gone out, and they hadn't been able to find them since.
Rory paced around worriedly, as Y/n sat on the floor against the console, her eyes focused on the watch on her wrist as she watched the time tick by with her mind swirling with thoughts.
She was worried. Of course she was worried! Why wouldn't she be? But she couldn't show it, that was Rory's job and he was doing it very well.
"Whats taking them so long?" Rory spoke up worriedly, "they never take this long!"
Y/n sighed and tore her eyes away from her watch, looking at Rory. "Rory, I'm sure they're fine. It's the doctor and Amy they'll be here eventually."
Rory looked over to her, "I know. But what if they're not?!" He exclaimed.
Y/n stood up and walked over to him, putting a hand on his shoulder, "Rory, listen to me. This isn't the first time this has happened and they've always come back. They're very good at making us worry but you know they'll be fine."
Rory looked at her, "you say that but the look in your eyes says different."
"What look? There's no look." She furrowed her eyebrows together.
"Yes there is. You have that little glint in your eye that you always get when you're worried about something." He pointed out.
"Wh-how do you know that?"
"I pay attention to people I care about." He stated.
"Okay, so I may be slightly worried, but it's fine! They're fine! They're fine as long as we say they are!" Y/n reasoned.
"And what if we find out that they're actually dead? What will we do then?" He questioned.
Y/n sighed, "if they are, then we can get find their bodies and leave."
"How would we leave? The Doctor is the only one who knows how to drive the TARDIS." Rory stated.
Y/n raised a brow at the man, "I've been travelling with the Doctor longer than you have, do you really think he wouldn't teach me how to drive it?"
Rory shrugged, "well, no."
Y/n sighed as she listened to the soft hum of the TARDIS, her eyes travelling back to her watch as she watched the hands ticked over the numbers.
'It's now been more than an hour. I have to do something.' Y/n thought to herself. She stepped away from Rory, turning away from him and walking towards the TARDIS doors.
"Where are you going?" Rory asked.
"I'm taking matters into my own hands and am going to find them myself." Y/n answered.
"I'll go with you-"
"No, Rory. You stay in here, it's dangerous out there and I'm pretty sure if Amy ever finds out that I let you go with me, she'd probably kill me. So no, I'm going myself." She cut him off.
"And the Doctor would be pissed at me if he finds out I let you go. You know he doesn't like you following him out to the really dangerous places." Rory pointed out.
Y/n turned around, "yeah, I know. And I'm sick and tired of it! He let's you and Amy go with him all the time, and always makes me stay, and it's not fair!" She huffed as she turned back around.
"Y/n-"
Y/n ignored whatever Rory had said after that, pushing open the doors, expecting there to be no one there.
Instead, Amy and the Doctor come running in, neither looking injured, only tired.
Amy went straight for Rory, hugging him tightly as he hugged her back, a relieved smile on his face.
The Doctor had stumbled to the TARDIS console, turning around to see Y/n standing near the now-closed doors, her arms crossed and her eyes narrowed.
The Doctor walked over to her, "Hello, Y/n! I'm alive!"
She didn't say anything, her frown deepening.
"What's wrong?" He asked, immediate concern evident.
"You're lucky you and Amy aren't even hurt. Why were you two gone so long?" She questioned him.
"Well uh, our first plan didn't go so well, and so we resorted to our second plan. The second plan didn't go so well either, and I couldn't really think of a third plan. So we uh, got captured for a while, and we were going to tell you both but they had taken our comms and broke them." He explained.
"You said that this was the most dangerous adventure yet, and all you did was get Kidnapped??? If you had just let me go with you, you could have escaped sooner!" Y/n groaned.
"Well, I thought it would have gone a lot worse. I apologize. Though when we did escape they were trying to shoot us, didn't work though." The Doctor shrugged.
"You could have died, Doctor! And Amy as well! You two put your lives at risk once again without thinking about how Rory and I would feel! I would rather be out there knowing that you'd be okay and that I could protect you, than being in here wondering if you or Amy would ever come back!" Y/n exclaimed.
"But We're okay, see?" He waved towards himself and Amy, "maybe we've got a couple of cuts and bruises, but other than that we're fine, and alive! You know I'll always come back."
"But what if, one day, you don't? What if something goes wrong again and that time none of you come back, huh??? You always used to bring me to the most dangerous ones, especially with Rose! You always said that it was because you wanted me to have fun, and it was also a good way to protect me! And ever since you regenerated into, well, you!, you've made me hide away in the TARDIS like some child! And what makes me feel even more like a child is the fact you made Rory stay with me this time! I was okay with you changing, because I've experienced it before, but this is too far. Treating me like a child is just too far, Doctor. I'm absolutely sick of it." She snapped.
The Doctor went silent, Amy and Rory having turned their attention to the two.
"Oh, and you have nothing to say about this? Nothing to justify why you treat me so differently now? Is it because I'm not like Amy? Am I not strong enough for you anymore? Not brave enough?" Y/n taunted angrily, tears brimming her eyes.
The Doctor suddenly grabbed onto her shoulders, pulling her closer to him as he made her look up at him. "I did it because I care about you too much!" He cried, "and after I regenerated, I realized just how much I really did! And just the thought of putting you in so much danger hurts me! I already lost so many people because of it, and the only one I never lost was you by some miracle. I just wanted to make sure that it definitely wouldn't happen because losing you would be my final straw. I make Rory and Amy go with me all the time because they don't listen to me like you do. It's not because Amy is stronger than you or smarter or braver. It's because you're more than that. And sometimes...sometimes being the way you are puts you in so much more danger. I'm sorry I worry you so much, and I'm sorry you feel that way but that was never my intention. I just don't want anything to happen to you."
Y/n looked at him, her hard glare softening as the tears she tried so hard to hold in started to escape and slowly roll down her cheeks.
The Doctor's hands moved from her shoulders to her face, his thumbs wiping away her tears as he tried to hold in his own, "I love you too much to see you go." His voice cracked a little.
And at that very moment, she didn't just see the 11th Doctor, she saw the other hims all at once. The ones she grew to love, and to let go. But they were never really gone, were they? They were just hidden away in the back of his mind, keeping the memories they shared. She saw all of him I'm that moment, and she tried to look for any hint that he was lying. That he was only saying that so she would stop being angry.
But all she saw was compassion, love, and truth. Each time the Doctor regenerated, he always showed a different side. And this one was more open, more loving, more protecting. She was just too blind with envy to see it.
"You...love me?" Was all she could muster.
"Yeah." He gave her a broken smile.
She wrapped her arms around his waist as she pressed her face into his chest, "I love you too, Doctor. I'm...sorry I reacted like that."
He wrapped his arms around her shoulders as he laid his chin against the top of her head, "don't be sorry. It was quite understandable, I should have told you sooner." He told her softly.
They stood in a comfortable silence, both of their eyes closing as they just let the moment sink in.
"Can you two give us a few minutes alone, please?" The Doctor requested Amy and Rory who were still standing there watching the two.
"Right! Yes! We'll leave you two alone! Come on, Rory!" Amy said quickly as she dragged Rory off with her.
Y/n and the Doctor chuckled as they held the embrace.
"Does this mean you're still gonna keep me in here or will you let me go with you?" Y/n asked.
"I'll find a way to make sure you can still see me when I'm gone." The Doctor replied.
"So, in other words, no?" She questioned.
"Do you really need me to answer that?"
"Darn, I was really hoping you'd let me go." She mumbled.
"You should really stop hoping like that, it's a waste of hope."
"Oh, shush."
-----------------------------------------------------
I really need to learn how to end things properly like dang.
And yes I know it's a little bit all over the place but it's the best I could do and this fic has been in my drafts for months.
I'd like to thank @okay-j-hannah for giving me some feedback while writing it and I hope yall enjoy it :)
Please I love every regeneration of the Doctor but there's just something about Matt Smith's version that just tickles my brain 🫂

Maybe we'll just keep fallin'
⇢ Juyeon x reader, 3.4k, exes to lovers ⇢ A reunion at an amusement park reminds you of what it feels like to fall.
You've never hated Eric more than at this moment.
He gives you a big smile right when he sees you walking towards where the group is gathered near the entrance of the amusement park, and then runs towards you with his arms stretched out to squeeze the breath out of you.
"Hey," you greet with an attempt at a smile, hoping he doesn't notice the way your mood suddenly falls. "Long time no see."
"Y/N, I've missed you so much!" Eric's hug is even tighter than the last time you've seen him—a clear indication that he's been working out in college because those arms are even stronger as they lift you in a spin that takes you by surprise.
This amusement park trip would've been a perfect excursion on this perfect sunny day; a reunion of friends after a few years and a number of kilometers apart. And you had indeed been looking forward to it up until this point, having excitedly packed your bag and planned your outfit the night before.
However, no one had told you that he would be here too.
You knew it wasn't Eric's fault for inviting the both of you though, for he probably doesn't know about what happened. And when you join the rest of the group, it becomes quite obvious that none of them knew about it. It's as if they were all frozen in time, in the same spot as they stood all those years ago, back when your memories of this very amusement park had been overflowing with feelings for him.
It's not Eric's fault because Juyeon's Instagram remains untouched. Still filled with old pictures of the two of you long after what happened.
"It's nice to see all of you again," you say as you reach the others, looking at each of them one at a time. You wanted nothing more than to avoid looking at Juyeon the entire day, but it's something you couldn't get out of if you wanted to keep pretending everything was fine.
Juyeon was the first one you'd spotted from afar, having immediately recognized his all too familiar figure. But up close, he seems to have changed quite a bit. Like Eric, he definitely bulked up and is no longer super skinny, and then there's the way his skin glows and how his hair falls into place perfectly even with the wind blowing against it. And who wears such nice clothes to an amusement park? He's so stupidly perfect and unaffected that it pisses you off. The only thing that gives you a bit of satisfaction is seeing how he immediately stiffens after seeing you.
Maybe it would be easy to remember that he's no longer the boy you once loved when he seems so different now.
"Alright, let's go!" Eric shouts.
You knew that it was going to be a very long day.
***
"What's wrong? You don't like rollercoasters anymore?" Jacob asks. He raises an eyebrow at the way you eyed the ride all too warily.
You'd joined the line with the rest of them but there's a sense of dread in your steps that hadn't been there before. And while it wouldn't be your first time on this ride, the huge drop no longer seemed as appealing as it once did. Maybe you've developed a bit of a fear.
"I just hate the feeling of falling now," you say, then shrug when Hyunjae shoots you a strange look. "People change, I guess."
When your eyes flicker over to Juyeon intentionally, he's already staring at you.
Sometime while in line, the others all pair up with their seatmates, leaving you and Juyeon at the back together. Maybe it would've reminded you of the time they intentionally left you together when trying to set you up, but things are different now. It annoys you now.
You sigh. "Let's just get this over with."
As you climb into your seat with Juyeon following right behind you, suddenly you get an idea.
"Here, let me get this for you." You shoot him a smile before grabbing the safety bar and pushing it down on him as far as it would go, locking him into the seat with a click. It's much tighter than it needs to be and probably digs into his stomach if his grimace is any indication. Perfect. "Enjoy the ride!"
Then you walk out the other way. Leaving him without a seatmate on the rollercoaster.
A look of utter disbelief spreads on his face and you simply laugh before heading to the exit, where you would wait for his ugly photos to come out. Not that he could ever be ugly, but one could still hope.
As the rollercoaster takes off and he's still glancing at you looking betrayed, there's no time for guilt. Because he was going to go on the ride anyways, you tell yourself. What difference did it make whether it was with or without you? And besides, strapping him in tighter could've been to ensure his safety; it's almost funny how the things we do for the people we love actually end up hurting them the most.
Several minutes later, Juyeon comes back with his hair dishevelled and a frown on his face. Bothered, but still silent. You count that as a win because unfortunately for you, his photos turn out looking just fine. In fact, they turn out all too similar to the set you once carried around in your phone case—the same ride and the same expression, only the seat beside him hadn't been empty in that one.
He doesn't say anything as you take out your phone to quickly snap a photo of the preview on the screen, calling him ugly the entire time anyways.
The loud noises and flashy lights in every direction try to grab your attention as heading to the next ride has you walking through all the carnival games in the park. Prizes are dangling at every stall, the smell of colourful snacks and the cheerful voices of children filling the air. For a while, you don't mind it when Juyeon falls into step beside you at the back of the group.
Until his hand accidentally brushes yours. And his touch sends you reeling.
"You okay?" his eyes flash with concern. He hangs back to wait for you while the rest of the group continues on without notice.
"Yup," you slap on the most dazzling fake smile you could muster. "Never been better."
It was a close call; for a second you thought your resentment towards him faltered like your feet did.
They've stopped at a beanbag toss game where Hyunjae points out how much Sunwoo looks like the raccoon plushie hanging in the section of prizes, and Changmin is taking bets that Sangyeon's bad luck would make him lose every game he plays. Juyeon bets against it. You bet for it.
The man running the game gestures dramatically, beckoning your group over. "See something you like? Step right up! Only three tickets to win the biggest prizes in the entire park."
Normally you would've walked away. Everyone knows that carnival games are rigged so there was no point in wasting your tickets, but once again, an idea occurs. Three tickets to get a chance to hit your ex? Hell yeah, you were definitely in.
The man gives you a wink as you go to hand in your three measly tickets, with Juyeon following closely behind. You had a feeling he would participate too, though you don't know why.
As you settle into your spot at the counter, you realize that the booth is quite empty. None of your friends are there anymore, somehow having disappeared so suddenly without a trace—leaving you alone with Juyeon once again.
"Why are they always putting us together," you mutter under your breath.
"Because they don't know about—"
"Yeah, no shit." You roll your eyes at him. Why was he answering a rhetorical question anyways? "Whatever. Let's get on with the game already."
When the game starts, Juyeon is oblivious beside you as he concentrates on the distance to the target. Competitive as usual, you assume, though this time it wouldn't be for the purpose of winning you a giant plushie like he did before. And the old you might've tried to get a good score to impress him, but the new you isn't like that anymore.
You almost feel bad when you take a step away from the booth and gaze at the back of his head. There's a sense of hesitation because does he really deserve this? Getting your revenge when he's not even looking is a little too harsh isn't it? But you quickly wipe those thoughts away. One beanbag to the head isn't going to make up for all the times he promised not to break your heart yet ended up doing it anyways.
Juyeon whips around and gives you a hard stare after your beanbag successfully strikes the back of his head and then lands at his feet. Bullseye!
"Oh, did I hit you?" Your voice drips with a sarcastic sweetness. "Oops, sorry."
The rest of your beanbags are tossed messily without really caring where they land now that you've accomplished your goal, and his shots seem too distracted after getting hit.
He remains impassive as the two of you find your way back to the rest of your friends who appear just as suddenly as they disappeared.
"That was a nice shot." Hyunjae gives you a high-five. The way Juyeon glances at him sharply almost makes you burst out laughing. "Too bad you didn't win a prize."
You don't tell him that it might be even better than winning a prize. "You saw that? But where did you guys go?"
"Oh um, Eric kind of had an emergency. In the bathroom." Hyunjae gives you a wry smile then takes off before you could ask more.
You stick with Sunwoo for the rest of the day, clinging onto him so closely that he has no opportunity to leave you with your ex again. He occasionally gives you questioning glances and you feel slightly embarrassed; it wasn't your intention to make things awkward, but surely your friends should've all sensed something strange by now? Surely they couldn't still see you and Juyeon as a couple?
The last jab you took at him was on the spinning teacup ride, a final ride at the end of the day just as the sun was setting. The rest of your group had split themselves equally into two teacups, leaving no room for the two of you though you could see through the way they intentionally sprawled themselves across the seats to fill up the space.
So once again, you were left with Juyeon. But this time, you don't complain because you had another plan up your sleeve.
As soon as the ride starts along with the horrible carnival music, you're grabbing the wheel at the center and turning it as fast as you could. It makes the teacup spin and spin, round and round until the rest of the world is a blur of lights and colours around you. Somehow it makes the teacup feel all too small. It's as if you and Juyeon were the only ones existing as everything else blends together.
"Y/N, stop," he shouts at some point, but you pay no attention as your hands continue to move the steering wheel mechanically. "You're going to get dizzy!"
And he's right. Because eventually the teacup slows to a full stop, but the world continues to spin and prevents you from getting to your feet and walking out.
"Are you okay?" Juyeon reaches for you then pulls back at the last moment. "Why did you spin it so much?"
Just seeing the way he looks perfectly fine standing there makes you feel the contents of your stomach churn. His perfect face and his perfect hair and his perfectly indifferent expression. Had your plan backfired? At this point, could anything you do even affect him the way his presence affected you so much?
You attempt at getting to your feet again and it just barely works this time. "Ugh, why aren't—you dizzy—"
"You spun it that hard just to get me dizzy?" Juyeon's voice gives no hints to what he's thinking.
"Shut up."
His touch stings when he ends up wrapping an arm around you, holding you up as you walk out of the ride together. Usually you would've thrown him off and pushed him away, but in your state of trying not to die, you give in and let him guide you to a pavilion with some picnic benches.
"Sit here."
It's quieter here when you're out of the crowd. A little easier to breathe. You focus on the way the air tastes, cooler now that the sun has gone down but still lingering with the sweetness of cotton candy from a nearby vendor. The world slows down and finally stills under your feet, and the waves of nausea quickly recede.
"Why are you doing all this?" Juyeon blurts, and you can finally see something underneath those unreadable eyes of his. The whole day he's put up with your antics without ever saying anything, but now you could see the blaze the lies just beneath the surface.
It feels like a taste of victory.
"Doing what?"
"You know what."
"I don't know what you're talking about," you say carefully.
He gives an exasperated sigh, pacing around in front of the bench you sat at. "Do you hate me that much?"
"I—"
Yes, you wanted to say. Because hating him has never left your mind for the past few years. Because you did want to resent him. To hurt him the way that he hurt you when he decided to cut off all ties with you so your long-distance relationship wouldn't hold you back during college. Maybe he'd thought it was the right thing to do but it was such a stupid reason and he was so stupid and—it all hurt. So yes, maybe you'd imagined getting your revenge someday when you met him again.
But doing all those things today didn't make you feel any better and seeing him like this is different from what you'd imagined.
Juyeon's steps finally stop, and he sits down on the bench beside you. "If you do, it's okay. I get it. I would hate me too."
A silence settles in between you and the crickets in the background are almost too loud. The last of the sun's fading glow surrender to a blanket of darkness that contrasts with the warm glow of the fairy lights in the small pavilion. Being here in any other context might be romantic. It reminds you all too much of what happened the first time.
"Why?" you ultimately ask despite already knowing the answer. "Why would you hate yourself?"
"For hurting you. For even thinking that we'd be better off apart because the past four years have only made me miserable with regret," he admits. "So yes, hurt me. Let out your pain." He pounds on his chest a couple of times and then stretches his arms out, waiting. "I can take it. Just don't hurt yourself."
"Juyeon..."
The amount of times you'd wished to hear those words over the years. He did call that one time, though your roommates had taken your phone and blocked him before you could get a chance to find out what he might've said. It was something that you'd wondered about during the times you'd drank a little too much, when you'd cried over nothing, when the feeling of falling had become falling into the depths of darkness instead of falling in love like it once was.
Maybe now, you're finally getting your answer.
Your fists are weak where they collide with his chest repeatedly, one after another, as if doing so would make his heart hurt as much as yours did. And he just takes it.
But then he's wrapping his arms around you, pulling you close until you give in. Until you completely melt against him. Until there's the warmth of his body against you and the tears that slip down your cheeks land on his shirt.
"Y/N, you have no idea how much I missed you," he whispers, breath coming out against your hair where he runs his hand through like he did before. "I'm sorry. For everything."
His scent enveloping you as he holds you, the dim glow of lights above you—it all reminds you of what happened all those years ago at this very place. It had been the same park and the same friends as today, but the exhilaration was from the way he grabbed your hand to pull your closer, not from being up high in that swing ride. The dizziness you'd felt was after he kissed you for the first time, and not from some spinning teacup ride. And when had the heart fluttering feeling of falling been from falling in love, and not simply from a rollercoaster ride?
But soon you do find yourself falling again.
It's not like the first time he kissed you here, when sparks fly and the world spins and your heart pounds so hard you thought it would burst. This time when his lips are on yours and he fits against you so perfectly, it's like coming home after being too far for too long. Everything feels so familiar yet new, like rereading your favourite book and rediscovering all of your favourite passages as you relearn each line and curve of his body. He may be different from what you remembered from all those years ago, but the way his gentle hands cup your cheeks, the brushing of his knees against yours, the way you can taste the salt of tears and faint sweetness of cotton candy on his lips. Everything is still so distinctly him, something that even the space and time between you couldn't ever change.
"Lee Juyeon," comes out in a whisper against his lips as you pull back to catch your breath, "you're so stupid."
"Only when it comes to you." He breaks into a smile, the first genuine smile that you've seen all day and it seems to light up the world. "I'll make it up to you, I promise. Even if it takes me the rest of my life."
"You're making this sound like a proposal."
Juyeon gives a choked laugh. "Um, not that I would be against it, but let's take this one step at a time first, yeah?"
And when you look at him, truly look at him, this time you can see the same boy you loved for all these years. You let those eyes draw you in and finally let yourself sink into the memories that you kept pushing away and burying. There's a tinge of pink on his cheeks and they're hot under your fingertips as you reach to pull him in again and—
"It's about time," a booming voice suddenly interrupts, making the two of you spring apart. Eric claps as he walks into the pavilion joined by the rest of the group, a mischievous smile on his face.
"It only took them all day," Sunwoo rolls his eyes. "I was dying over here when Y/N started following me around. Totally deserve an Oscar for my acting today."
"Hey, that's not true! I definitely noticed you giving me weird looks."
It's not surprising that your friends had known about the breakup after all, though you just hadn't expected them to have known even before this trip. The deja vu takes you back to the last time you were here, how your first kiss as a new couple was nearly interrupted by Eric's cheers and Sunwoo's expressions of disgust.
"Before you start freaking out—no, nobody told us," Eric says. "Nobody needed to because it was so obvious. We only pretended to not know in the hopes that you'd finally put each other out of your misery."
"And while it's good that you guys did, the highlight of this trip has got to be watching Y/N bully Juyeon all day," Hyunjae bellows and nods towards Juyeon. "I don't know what you did to deserve that, but you probably deserved it."
Soon there are sounds of laughter filling the pavilion and it makes your heart feel full in a way that you hadn't felt in a long time. As if there had been a weight you didn't even know you had on you, and now it's been lifted off your shoulders and you finally feel light enough to join in with their laughter.
As fireworks fill the night sky and Juyeon intertwines his fingers with yours on the walk back, it quickly becomes clear that the falling back together was as easy as it had been the first time.

Hello! I've read the last fic you've wrote and I really love it! You've done an amazing work! I was wondering if you write about poly relationship because I would like to request a fic (since Oda made it canon) about Kid and Killer liking the same girl. Maybe a girl that has joined their crew and has non conventional beauty but is strong and good hearted with them. I would like also to see crew's reaction and how they would behave around her (I think they are kind of dorks and this would piss captain and first mate, but at the end they would be happy to see the 3 of them together).
I hope it's not too much. If you don't write about poly, it could be alright some general hc's of them in a relationship with female s/o separately.
Thank you if you'll write it!!
Shared Love
Hello :) ! This was a little different request - because I never wrote a one shot/story with a poly-relationship. Hope this is okay.. if not, then please let me know. I would like to improve my writing and learn about different kinds of relationships.
Also, was this really canon? I understood that they both had interest in the same girl and they became friends because of the chili incident? (just asking, no hate! I really understood it that way :) would be cool either way.) Hope you guys enjoy this!
- Kid x reader x Killer - 2,101 words - bar fight, mention of rape, NSFW, threesome
The night was still young and the alcohol was served slowly in this bar. It was filled with new pirate crews and old adventurers. But they all had one thing in common: they were horny. You were never alone this evening because every 5 minutes, a new man would stand by your side to try and get your attention. You were dressed in a very tight leather outfit, a dangerously short skirt and a stomach-free top, which pushed your breasts up way too high. The skirt had a high cut on its side and revealed the knife on your thigh, which you always carried with you. The fishnet stockings and the high heels made you look even more badass. This was usually not your everyday look but you've lost a bet with Heat, which is why he forced you into this outfit and even did your hair and make-up, flawlessly. You reminded yourself to hire him for your wedding, if you would ever have one. Your usual shirt and trouser combo has been thrown away, which is why you ended up here in the bar to drink your pain away. Especially because this bra pushed up your whole chest and it felt like your breasts were about to touch your chin. The eighth guy dared to try to make you dance with him, while number 3 and 6 were still buying you drinks and trying their best to get you to talk with them. "Guys, please.. I am really not the right woman for you." "Are you seeing someone?" - "Who is it? I will kill him and make you the happiest woman on the seas!" "You should really consider leaving..", you warned them and felt that you were already a little more than just tipsy. "Don't try to play innocent. If you would have a boyfriend, you wouldn't be here by yourself.", number 6 dared to come closer and he put his fingers on the outside of your thigh. Number 3 even went a step ahead and placed his hand right at your butt, squeezing it slightly once. In the next second, he screamed. A painful sound appeared next to you and when you turned around to see what was going on, you saw number 3 kneeing down to the floor, holding his hand on his shoulder where his other arm was supposed to be. The knife suddenly went back to the other side of the room and Kid grabbed it when it stopped right in front of him. Kid had just amputated that man's arm. There was no regret in his eyes and you loved him for it. You never liked it when someone was suffering, except when they deserved it. And these men were just about to use their chance to probably rape you just because you were drunk. If it hadn't been you, it might have been someone else. They deserved it. Before you could get off the chair, Killer appeared right behind you and put his arm around your waist, lifting you up softly. You put your arm around his neck and your legs around his hips, holding yourself up carefully. "Are you alright?", he asked through his mask and checked you immediately. A quick nod followed at this question and before Killer turned to leave, he grabbed number six's hand and broke his fingers with only one squeeze. "Now we can leave." He turned away and you looked back to these men. One was already aswoon, receiving some help, while the other began screaming in pain. No one dared to say something or fight them. Especially not because the whole Kid's crew was already in the club, making sure that no one touched you or any other crew member. -- Killer placed you softly onto the bed and you laid down, stretching your body easily and relaxing on the soft mattress. You insisted on sleeping here since you found out how comfortable Kid's bed was and he didn't mind. It was big enough for three people, which is why the three of you usually slept in here. "Is she hurt?", Kid raised an eyebrow and eyed you carefully. Now that he had calmed down, he was ready to inspect your outfit. It was unusual to see you in these clothes but he had heard of the bet with Heat. But that is only because he forced Heat to make a bet with you. "No.. She's actually wearing it. I cannot believe you managed it..", Killer shook his head and took off his jacket before he sat down next to you onto the bed. "I told you that
she'd look fucking hot in those fishnets. I just didn't expect her to be this drunk.", Kid went into the bathroom to wash his knife after tonight's events. "You guys are mean.", you pouted and Killer chuckled a bit, stroking your hair back softly. You grabbed his loose shirt and pulled him closer until he was leaning slightly over you. "(Y/N), you're drunk.. I wouldn't -" "Shh..", you stopped him from saying another word and stroked his hair back carefully. Then you placed your hands on his mask and waited for him to stop you but he didn't. You were always careful with his mask but you knew that he trusted you and you loved him for it. You took it off carefully before placing it to the side and kissing the few places softly, where the mask had been pressing on his skin too hard. When you felt his muscles relaxing a bit, he leaned forward and kissed you. First softly but then very passionately. Claiming your mouth with his tongue and owning you completely for a second, Killer stroked his left hand down your free stomach and went behind your back. He pulled you softly to the side, to make you lean towards him. Kid decided to join you and laid down behind you. His hand wandered all over your body, while Killer didn't let go of you and continued kissing you more and more intensely. Both their bodies were pressed against yours and you could clearly feel both their erections already pressing against your body. Kid's hand wandered down to the front of your skirt and his fingers immediately found their way to your warmth. A shiver went down your body when he began stroking you and pressing his hips against your butt. Killer didn't let his best friend work on his own. He pulled down your top, exposing your breasts as he began to massage one right away. Your breathing became heavy as both of them were focusing on only you. The three of you barely had a chance to enjoy a night altogether, which is why this excited you even more now. You loved both of them and hated to choose one of them every night and finally you could stay here together. When Kid slid his fingers inside you, you gasped into Killer's kiss and he smirked against your lips. Both of them enjoyed teasing and pleasuring you and it always surprised you how good they were working as a team. Killer let go of your lips for a moment and leaned down to your breasts. His focus switched to the one, which he hasn't paid any attention to yet and began sucking it. First very slowly but when you started to moan softly, he became very needy. Without knowing why, Kid suddenly pushed you on top of Killer and you found yourself laying on top of him. "What was that for?", you looked back in surprise to Kid and gasped unexpectedly. Killer bit your neck teasingly and had managed to open his trousers, while you were not paying any attention. His erection was pressed against your warmth and Kid reached to your sides, ripping off the panties and pulling up your skirt for Killer. Kid crawled up behind you, took his flesh arm around you, and began stroking your clit again, while Killer was positioning himself below you. You held yourself up on Kid's metal arm and leaned with your back against his torso, trying not to cum already by these simple touches. When Killer began thrusting inside of you, Kid's metallic arm went immediately around your waist to hold you in that position and his flesh hand grabbed your throat, choking you carefully. Killers thumb immediately replaced Kid's fingers on your clit and he thrust into you faster. His eyes went up to yours, locking for a moment until you couldn't stand the pleasure any longer. You closed your eyes and breathed heavily, feeling your orgasm building up already. "Be a good girl. Cum for us.", Kid whispered into your ear and forced you to look at him. This time, he pressed his lips onto yours, not giving you a chance to back away. He ignored how you tried to catch a breath and enjoyed the moans you offered him in the kiss. Hearing how Killer was breathing heavier suddenly too, Kid stopped the kiss and pressed your head
against his chest again. "Scream his name, (Y/N)!", Kid commanded and bit your neck on one side harshly, marking you as his'. "K-Killer!", you screamed when you felt your orgasm releasing itself, almost at the same time as Killer's. He filled you up from deep within, pushing hard into you for the last few drops left. Kid let go of you after a few seconds and pushed you down onto Killer, who immediately pulled you close to him. The kiss was deep and full of lust. Grateful to share this moment together and experience this way of love. When you suddenly felt how Kid positioned himself behind you after Killer pulled out, you looked back to him and tried to stand up. But Killer held you down. "I should clean myself for-" "It's alright.", Kid smirked and didn't let a single drop hinder him from enjoying your current warmth. Without a warning, he entered you fully from behind and grabbed your hips harshly. The first thrusts were slow and patient. Killer began kissing you again and gave you a break to breathe right after. His lips found their way to the other side of the neck, which Kid didn't mark as his' yet. That's where he chose to leave a sign of him owning you as well. You grabbed the pillow below Killer with both hands, arching your back to give Kid more way to enter you and he used that chance instantly. The next thrusts were deep and hard, much harder than Killer's. He slammed right into you, grabbing your nape from behind to hold himself onto you. Feeling Killer's member stroking against your clit and one of his hands massaging your breast, while he sucked on your neck, sped up the process for another orgasm. "Say his name, love.", Killer smirked and took his arms around your waist, keeping you in that position so you wouldn't lean too much forward, helping Kid to slam easier into you. Breathing heavily, you thought that you couldn't manage it but you did, "Kid!!" You came before him, way too early. It felt like pure torture to ride out your orgasm for so long until Kid came as well but it felt amazing too. The last thrusts were the hardest he had ever done and the slaps he offered to ride it out, made it feel even better. -- The next morning was way too chaotic. You were barely able to move but managed to find your seat on Kid's lap at the table. A few unknown women had joined the crew for breakfast but this was nothing unusual. The crew made a pact, to always invite the whore for a meal right after sex, just for the entertainment to see, who could walk right after and who couldn't. Even now, they were eyeing you carefully but they didn't see anything because they finally understood that they were better off to keep quiet than to comment. When they all realized that you were dating Kid and Killer, they weren't sure if you were really smart or really stupid but they were happy as long as Kid wasn't killing anyone on the ship. I would say, that I am really lucky. Killer handed you a cup of coffee and let you stretch out your legs on his lap. Kid was barely awake and he didn't even want to wake up yet but Killer's rarely cooked any bacon and there was no way he would miss out on that. He even stole a few from your plate.

Moving In
Hi! Could you write something where the reader meets Will, and he's completely infatuated with her. He convinces her to hang out with him for a day, and all day long he's trying his best to impress her, flirting, stealing glances, etc. And at the end of the day she gives him her number? Thank you!
Summary- Will and Gee have a new neighbor, Will happens to find her really cute.
warnings - my terrible writing
masterlist
"There's someone moving in next door." Gee said to Will as she made herself a bowl of cereal.
"Oh, probably have to warn them we're loud." Will joked. "You know how the last ones were; always pissed off with us." Will grabbed a glass of water and sipped it as he walked to their window to see a moving van out front.
"Maybe we should go help them," Will stated. "be good neighbours, ya know."
"I have Josh coming round today and I promised I'd make him lunch." Gee said apologetically, shrugging her shoulders.
Will opened the door to his flat after slipping on a pair of vans and walked out. He made his way down the stairs and came across a huge pile of boxes stacked up against the wall.
"Hey, do you need some help moving in?" The girl turned around and Will took a double take. She was beautiful.
"Oh you don't have to." She grinned and grabbed a box and started to carry it indoors. Will watched blankly as she walked indoors before grabbing a box and following her.
"I insist." He smiled his sweetest smile and followed her up the stairs to their now shared floor.
She raised an eyebrow at him before laughing. "Okay, well I'm Y/n. You must be one of my neighbors?"
"Yeah, I live at number twenty three, right next door, I'm Will!" Will smiled. Y/n opened the door to number twenty five and put the box in the middle of the bare floor.
Will continued to steal glances at Y/n. She was stunning and- from what little they talked- she seemed like a genuinely intresting person. He tried his best to flirt but kept stumbling over his words. Will took his time taking the last box up, not wanting their time together to end.
"Thank you for helping me Will," She smiled, "I really appreciate it!"
"Don't worry about it!" Will smiled. "Besides what person would I be if I turned down a beautiful woman needing help?" He winked jokingly.
She snorted. "Do you say that to all the girls?"
"No only you." Will smirked before leaning against her door.
"So your telling me that, the great Will from number twenty three, only flirts with me?" She let out a giggle.
"I mean; if you want me to." Will coughed awkwardly, his shyness taking over.
She nodded slightly, a smile tugging on her lips and started unpacking. "You can go home now, I will tell you if I need anything."
Will started panicking, he wanted to stay longer. "No- no, I can help you move in!" He stuttered out smiling lightly.
She raised an eyebrow. "Okay, sure."
Will opened a box and pulled out a photo frame. "Who's that?" He pointed at a photo that had a few people in it, it seemed like an oldish photo, maybe early 2000s.
"Oh that's my family, that's my mum, my dad, me, and my siblings." You pointed at the figures as you named them smiling lightly.
"How old were you there? You look young." She took the photo out of his hands and turned it over.
"It says I would be around four or five." You smiled. "I always lived in that house. Only just moved out."
"Why'd ya move out?" Will asked as you placed the photo on the counter.
"I've always loved London, a lot more opportunities. Where I lived, you were either a farmer or labourer, not much else to do." You scoffed. "I wanted to do more with my life, ya know?"
"I get you." Will spoke softly as he stood beside you. "I'm so glad I do YouTube because I feel like that opened so many new doors. I've met so many new people now."
"Oh you do the YouTube thing?" She asked and Will gulped. He's messed this up, she probably wants you to get a real job, well done you fucking idiot- "That's so cool!" Oh.
Will smiled and let out the breath he was holding. They continued unpacking and Will continued to comment flirty things. She blushed, laughed, or rolled her eyes at each of them so Will saw that as a success.
"Oh shit, it's 10pm!" Y/n exclaimed as she checked her phone. "I need to get some sleep, busy day tomorrow."
"Oh well, I'll leave you too it then." Will smiled and moved to the door.
"It was nice getting to know you Will." She blushed. And waited in the door way as Will stood outside.
"Can I get your number? That way, if you need help, you don't have to knock!" Will rushed out his stupid excuse for a reason.
"Yeah of course." Will beamed at y/n's response and passed her his phone. She typed in the digits and passed the phone back.
"I'm expecting a text tomorrow Will!" You smirked and Will nodded. "Good night." You blushed as you closed the door.
"Good night!" Will almost whispered back. The door shut with a click and Will stood staring at your door. Suddenly a big smile grew on his face as jumped in excitement and made his way back to his apartment. He fell asleep with a blush on his cheek, thinking about her.

Didn't Happen the First Time (Soulmate AU)
College!Tommy Kinkle x Reader
[Not My Gif]
Source: @john-bendr
Warning(s): None
A/N: So @imnotadalekimhuman and I had a whole conversation about how Tommy Kinkle deserved to go to college. It stuck with me so I wrote this. TK stans need to get together btw.
Masterlist
As comforting as knowing someone was out there that was your perfect match, the idea of having a soulmate was stressfull to you. You often traced the words etched into your skin thinking about what would happen if you met this person. Would it be love at first sight? Would they already be in a relationship? Were you one of the unlucky few that didn't have a soulmate?! Some days you'd daydream about them others you were a ball of anxiety. All because of a stranger who was supposed to comolete you.
The thing with soulmates was that on rare, very rare, ocassions people would get an incling of where their other half would be. That's what happened when you were choosing schools. Notre Dame wasn't your first choice but something about it pulled you there. It wasn't a cosmic revelation, more of a insesent nudge that became too much to bare.
When you got there you didn't know what to think. The moment you stepped on campus the feeling vanished, gone like the flame on a blown out candle. You were looking in every corner to find that person who would just say those words. Two years there and you slowly started to give up. If they were really here or anywhere in the world you'd find eachother. Eventually. Instead you focused on your studies, and making Stacy keep up with her school work.
The school had a big football culture that ruled over the campus. Home games were always packed, people travelled to see visiting games, and any wins were met with outrageous frat parties.
Your friend Stacy who had gotten into Notre Dame with you was beside you currently cheering along with the rest of the stadium. "C'MON NUMBER THIRTEEN, SHOW 'EM WHAT WE'RE MADE OF!"
You blinked at her with wide eyes, "My ears are right here Stace."
You weren't sure if she was ignoring you or it was too loud for her to hear but she continued with her cheering.
The game was close but it was player 13 that scored the winning touch down. The croud erupted in the school chant and applause.
After winning the first home game of the season the star quarterback Aric Boyyd announced, "Party at Sigma Kappa Phi tonight!!!" Random groups of people around you whooped.
You wrinkled your nose at the idea. Sometimes the parties were amusing but everyone knew frat parties had a tendency to get out of hand. Aric was busy hyping everyone up with his antics when he bumped into you causing you to drop you phone, your drink following right over it.
"What the hell, man?! I just got that!" you yelled at him.
Aric shrugged, "You can't expect me to care about that babe, WE JUST WON THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON!" The crowd cheered along with him to the frat house ignoring you.
You took a deep breath your jaw clenching. Before you could pick up the phone a another hand had already plucked it from the ground.
You looked at the person holding your phone out to you and took it from him. If you weren't so pissed you'd have thought he was cute. But no, part of why you were here was meet your soulmate. No distractions.
"I'm Tommy," he said trying to fill the silence that had grown.
"Y/N," you replied looking over your phone shattered screen, probably some damage from your drink spilling on it.
"Hey you're 13," Stacy said recognizing his face from photos posted on the schools social media. "Nice game."
Tommy smiled, "Thanks. And sorry about Aric, he doesn't know the importance of... Anything that isn't him."
"Oh so what are you, one of those sensitive meatheads?" you asked in annoyance.
Tommy went quiet, you could practically see the gears turning in his head but it wasn't for the reason you thought. He looked at you with in a new light when he felt the tingling on his abdomen, right where those same words were etched. In all the years he looked at that sentence he always thought it would come out as a joke. It gave him a sense of comfort knowing his soulmate was probably a playful tease. Looking at you now he doubted that was the case or maybe you weren't in a good mood. Your phone did just face some damage because of his teammate.
Your brows were furrowed in annoyance and you seemed ready to leave. He had to say something, anything, maybe like the words written on your skin. But he didn't know what to say and the longer he stood there the more he was losing his chance.
"Well, uh, all teams need a novelty right?" he tried to joke. He looked at you to see if there was some sort of recognition in your face.
"Whatever, Stace let's go."
Just like that you were leaving. Tommy watched you go somehow still trying to to figure out what to say to you.
"You're not bailing (Y/N)," Stacy warned.
You looked at her defensively, "Who said I was."
"I can see it all over your face. Classes haven't gotten serious yet so were gonna go party it up."
"It's not like you're gonna give me a choice," you said rolling your eyes.
Stacy grinned at you, "I love it when you just accept your fate." She dragged you off to change into something she approved of and you were off.
When you arrived the party was already in full swing. Beer pong on one side of the room, kegs not far from it, and a shit ton of hangovers waiting to happen.
You made your way out to the backyard where there were less people. As if Tommy knew you had arrived he found you minutes after you arrival.
"Oh my god, is this guy serious?" you mumbled.
"He's cute give him a chance," Stacy whispered. "Hey! Tommy how you doing?" she said giving him a winning smile.
"Good, I guess," he answered shrugging. His eyes travelled to you as an awkward silence took over.
"Well! I see a cute girl over there and I'm gonna go chat her up, have. . . anything but this," your friend said her arms gesturing vaguely around you two. "Try fun," she said already leaving you.
"Stacy Ingrid Hopkins I swear-" the few people around you turned to see the commotion about to erupt but you quieted down.
Tommy bit his lip looking down. Remembering the drinks he brought with him earlier he offered one to you, "Um, I got you, a um, some lemonade. I wasn't sure about bringing you alcohol."
"I don't take open drinks from anyone at parties."
"Oh there are soda cans I can get you one," Tommy said heading back inside.
You pushed past him irritated, "I'll get it myself. Hopefully you can take a hint and leave me alone."
Tommy realized that getting through to you was going to be a challenge. This really wasn't what he thought being with his soulmate was going to be like. What if you weren't his mate? The first thing he said was supposed to be what was written on your skin. He got no reaction from the moment he met you. Tommy got an aching feeling in the pit of his stomach.
"Are you always going to see me as the bad guy?" he said in an off handed manner.
You stopped in your tracks. You'd known that sentence from the moment you could read. The words imprinted into you were just spoken by the man you'd been trying to avoid. Turning around you slowly walked back to Tommy.
You walked back to him standing inches away and whispered, "Only if it means I get to give my soulmate a hard time."
Finally! Tommy smiled so bright you were sure you'd go blind. He lifted his sleeve revealing the words you said to him hours ago. Giggling you turned your arm showing him the inside of your bicep.
"I can't believe you didn't say this the first time," you told him in amusement.
Tommy chuckled shaking his head, "I've been stressing out all this time thinking I was matchless. Don't play with my feelings."
You laughed and in that moment Tommy knew that was the only thing that could ever make his heart skip a beat.
